The "New Cameroon" and Cameroonian "Union-Nationalism"

 




Most Cameroonians are instinctively, subconsciously, and objectively union-nationalists, the most advanced form of civic-nationalism. On the future of Cameroon, the union-nationalists don't only want federalism that is better than what constituted the Cameroon Federation of 1961-1972, but also espouse a "New Cameroon" which would come to life following the dismantlement of the suffocating French-imposed system that transformed the Beautiful Cameroonian Dream of Reunification and Independence into disillusionment and conflicts. This "New Cameroon" that would unleash our true and full potentials, goodwill, and sense of belonging,  would also free us from the shackles of Neocolonialism and set us on the path that would make Cameroon the cornerstone of the Africa of the future("New Africa")  that is economically united and politically integrated. The "New Cameroon"  would give birth to new realities that would make Ethnofascism and Ethnofascists irrelevant if not redundant in our political and social lives.

 

La plupart des Camerounais sont instinctivement, inconsciemment et objectivement des union-nationalistes, la forme la plus avancée de civisme-nationalisme. Sur l'avenir du Cameroun, les union-nationalistes ne veulent pas seulement un fédéralisme qu'est meilleur que ce que constituait la Fédération camerounaise de 1961-1972, mais épousent aussi un « Nouveau Cameroun » qui prendrait vie à la suite du démantèlement du système étouffant imposé par la France qui a transformé le Beau Rêve Camerounais de Réunification et d'Indépendance en désillusions et les conflits. Ce « Cameroun Nouveau» qui libérerait nos vrais et pleins potentiels, notre bonne volonté et notre sentiment d'appartenance, nous libérerait aussi des carcans du néocolonialisme et nous mettrait sur la voie qui ferait du Cameroun la pierre angulaire de l'Afrique du futur(" Nouvelle Afrique") qui est économiquement unie et politiquement intégrée. Le « Cameroun Nouveau» donnerait naissance à de nouvelles réalités qui rendraient l'ethnofascisme et les ethnofascistes hors de propos voire superflus dans nos vies politiques et sociales.
