The "New Cameroon" and Cameroonian "Union-Nationalism"
Most Cameroonians are instinctively, subconsciously, and objectively union-nationalists, the most advanced form of civic-nationalism. On the future of Cameroon, the union-nationalists don't only want federalism that is better than what constituted the Cameroon Federation of 1961-1972, but also espouse a "New Cameroon" which would come to life following the dismantlement of the suffocating French-imposed system that transformed the Beautiful Cameroonian Dream of Reunification and Independence into disillusionment and conflicts. This "New Cameroon" that would unleash our true and full potentials, goodwill, and sense of belonging, would also free us from the shackles of Neocolonialism and set us on the path that would make Cameroon the cornerstone of the Africa of the future("New Africa") that is economically united and politically integrated.
